Lisa returns to competition

Having not run a race in about eighteen years, Lisa (with her running partner, our friend Dorene) got back into competition with the 5K race held in conjunction with the Big Sur marathon (in which two fellow gymnastics parents competed). Lisa took third-place and Dorene (in the tougher competition of a younger age group) took fourth. Now that she's retired after three decades of teaching, Lisa has more time for running. Up next: a 10K in August and a half marathon in October.
