Today we celebrated Mother's Day with Lisa's favorite outing: Monterey, with pedal cart riding to a picnic on the beach at Lover's Point. What a great day!

300,000 miles

My 2001 Toyota Prius hit a major milestone: 300,000 miles! I've never put this many miles on a car before; this one is running so well, has been--knock on wood--so problem-free and is saving me so much money in gas that I may try to see if I can hit 400,000.
